Dell and Alienware offer notebooks with biggest hard disk storage

Hard disks have really grown in storage space exponentially. Dell and Alienware are now offering a half terabyte (500GB) of storage in their Dell XPS M2010 and Alienware Aurora m9700 notebook offerings. This (notebooks that have a half terabyte of storage space) is definitely the first in the industry.

Dell XPS

The Dell’s giant notebook is the XPS M2010. It’s a 20″ screen foldable notebook. While the Alienware is the Aurora m9700, which is a 17″ screen dual graphics and dual hard drive notebook. Both notebooks are loaded with high end multimedia and gaming features, which obviously can be a desktop replacement anytime. The Japanese is really a complicated society. Years ago, they introducted the highly popular Tamagochi, this time they come up with a sexy chick called the Dream Chick (Yume Hiyoko in Japanese). These are actually cyborg chicks that look and feel like the real chickens. The palm-sized, fluffy robots went on sale last week in time for the Easter holidays. They join toy maker Sega’s line of mechanical pets that includes dogs, cats and ponies.

Google launched MyMaps

Google has just launched MyMaps that allows us to create our own personalized maps with arrows, shapes and placemarks, reports The Wall Street Journal. What’s best is that it supports for rich media such as videos from YouTube and Google Video.

Google MyMaps

We are able to mark the maps we created as public or private. The tools that are available are very simple and easy to use. We can add lines, polygons and placemarks easily. Once a map is created it is very easy to share it and syndicate it via KML. Items found during a local search can be added to a map with a click. Places found via GeoRSS or KML files can also be added to a map.

Check out MyMaps today, with this tool, you will less likely to get lost again I suppose. 🙂
