Google AdSense is no doubt one of the world’s best ad network but until now the most annoying thing about it was that it did not allow fast payment methods such as Western Union Money Transfer or wire transfer. The only payment method available was check delivery which could take weeks to reach you. In my case, using standard delivery usually took up to 3 weeks to arrive, not to mention another 4 weeks for the check to clear at my local Maybank branch.
Now, the best news for Malaysians is we can now choose to be paid by Western Union Quick Cash. Western Union Quick Cash is a payment method that allows you to receive your AdSense payments in cash using the Western Union money transfer service. Payments will be available for pick up at our local Western Union Agent the day after they are sent. This means that we won’t have to wait for a check to arrive in the mail. Choosing to receive your payments by Western Union can also cut down on the bank fees and long clearing times associated with depositing checks.
As far as I know many CIMB and RHB bank branches offer Western Union services.
If you wish to get your AdSense payment through Western Union, you need to change your payment options. Here is how you do it:

That’s it, you are done. Now, sit back, relax and wait for your next payment date.
When the magical date arrives, you will be given MTCN (Money Transfer Control Number) which is a 10 digit number that you need to put on the withdrawal slip when you are picking up your payment from any Western Union agent such as CIMB. You can find the MTCN by clicking on the “details” link next to the Payment Issued line on your Payment History page. You also need to know the payment amount which is also found in your Payment History page. In short, you need the following items when you go to your Western Union agent:
In case you don’t know, Google’s address is:
Google Inc.
1600 Amphitheatre Parkway
Mountain View, CA 94043
USA
Note: Western Union Quick Cash is now also available in:

Moses Francis,
It’s true that Malaysians have been withdrawing money from Paypal, but that’s in-directly. Now, Paypal also allows us to withdraw using our Debit/credit cards. Isn’t that good news?!

Are there fees associated with this method of transfer?

Pablopabla,
I think there are no explicit fees, they didn’t say you are charged xx fees for the transaction. But they give you a slightly lower exchange rate as the fees, perhaps around 3.4. But I believe you would love this new payment method as you are able to get hold of CASH in a couple of days time, rather than more than a month!

Moses Francis, isn’t this better than waiting for 1 month for the check to arrive, and another month for it to clear?

Vedis,
No, you don’t need to have any account with CIMB. You just give them the relevant info and they will give you cash on the spot! Nice or not?
