A web service called Splicd comes to the rescue by letting anyone drop in a YouTube video URL, then set the start and end point.
For instance, you’ve stumbled onto a really good video on YouTube but had to suffer through 10 minutes of complete boredom to get there. You want to share the video with a friend, but you don’t want him to have to sit through the whole boredom for the mere 10 seconds of good stuff. What you need to do? Go to Splicd, paste the URL of the YouTube video, set your desired start and end time, and it generates a custom link that starts and stops the video where you told it to.
