Splicd lets you slice YouTube videos

I know we all enjoy watching YouTube videos these days, but there are just too many videos on YouTube and some of them are quite lengthy. On a long video, sometimes it is hard to get to the good parts. In some cases, the good part could be a few minutes in and you might not have the patience to wait and run through the video… this is especially true if the video is link sent to you by your friend.

OBSCENE Candy for KIDS FAIL… People Pops Candy Toy Product Review By Mike Mozart of JeepersMedia

A web service called Splicd comes to the rescue by letting anyone drop in a YouTube video URL, then set the start and end point.

For instance, you’ve stumbled onto a really good video on YouTube but had to suffer through 10 minutes of complete boredom to get there. You want to share the video with a friend, but you don’t want him to have to sit through the whole boredom for the mere 10 seconds of good stuff. What you need to do? Go to Splicd, paste the URL of the YouTube video, set your desired start and end time, and it generates a custom link that starts and stops the video where you told it to. Give the link to all your friends to enjoy the goodies in the video! 🙂
