There has been a lot of rumors that the all new 3G capable iPhone is due at next week’s WWDC (Worldwide Developers Conference 2008). WWDC kicks off on 9th June 2008 with a keynote address by Steve Jobs.

Besides 3G support, the new iPhone also sports the following features:
- Lighter weight
- Available in Black and a few other colors
- Focus on Multimedia with video recording
- Video conferencing features
- GPS capable
There are also unconfirmed rumors that Apple is going to eliminate the US$399 8GB iPhone, keep the US$499 16GB and add a US$699 32GB model. However, alongside these, a low end iPhone that costs no more than US$200 might be available as Kevin Rose heard. Kevin Rose was the co-host of The Screen Savers on Tech TV and later founded Digg.com.

In anticipation of the new 3G iPhone launching next week and of getting a new one, now might be a good time to dump your old phone. In case you want to go to your mobile phone retailer nearby, don’t do that just yet… at least after reading this tutorial on how to sell your iPhone safely, and get the best price.
You’re not the only one who’s thinking about this. On the run-up to WWDC more and more iPhones are going to be hitting the market which will likely dilute prices somewhat. Balance that against selling your iPhone now, and the risk of new one’s not being released on June 9th. A few weeks after the announcement, expect prices to re-stabilize, as the sudden flood of upgrader phones diminishes.
