I am sure the keyword 3G iPhone is what that lures you in as this is as attractive as boobs on a pretty chick. Yeah, right now iPhone doesn’t support 3G and hell no HSDPA. Anyway, PC World reports that we can expect to see 3G iPhone as early as mid- to-second half of 2008!
Before you get carried away… unfortunately “we” here doesn’t include Malaysians. By then only countries such as Japan, Europe and US perhaps can expect to see 3G iPhones, where in our country we will only have WIFI iPhone. Officially released at least. 🙂
This report is supported by CNNMoney’s report that NTT Docomo is competing with Softbank Mobile Corp. in Japan for the exclusive rights to sell iPhone in Japan. Well, if you are not informed, there is no EDGE network in Japan. This could only mean one thing – iPhone has to be a 3G model. Suggestions of a new model with 3G support appearing in 2008 suddenly seem so much more believable.
Personally, I can’t wait for the release of the 3G iPhone. Hell I don’t care, I might buy a ticket to Japan next year and get myself a new phone… can visit the infamous Japan Disneyland also. Now, please put down whatever latest gadgets you want me to help you get from Japan!
