Japanese young chicks love Dream Chick!

The Japanese is really a complicated society. Years ago, they introducted the highly popular Tamagochi, this time they come up with a sexy chick called the Dream Chick (Yume Hiyoko in Japanese). These are actually cyborg chicks that look and feel like the real chickens. The palm-sized, fluffy robots went on sale last week in time for the Easter holidays. They join toy maker Sega’s line of mechanical pets that includes dogs, cats and ponies.

The new interactive snuggly, cuddly, fluffy, baby chicken robot is modeled after a newly hatched baby chicken, as that’s when they are the cutest.

At an affordable US$19(2,310 yen), the sexy chick makes an ideal companion for the for lonely persons such as myself. Yes, I want one too!

The chick has touch sensors that trigger it to chirp or flap its wings when its back is stroked. It cannot, however, move.
