Yeaaaah, now we can make tonnes of money from videos we post on YouTube! … of course provided you have created and posted sexciting videos on YouTube and have a devoted following of online fans!

Imagine this scenario, you have tonnes of friends who are happily chating away in Yahoo! Messenger. But you are using MSN Messenger, how can you chat with them? Of course you could always download Yahoo! Messenger and install it… it’s free anyway. But, you don’t fancy installing another software on your already crawling computer…

There’s a solution, look for Pidgin, which is an multi-platform instant messaging program for Windows, Linux, BSD, and many other Unix variants. Pidgin was renamed from GAIM. The name change is the result of a painfully-achieved settlement with AOL which should also unblock the delayed 2.0 release of the software.
More and more Internet users are using Firefox each day, some of them just like myself may even have forgotten what is IE already. But, do you know of a nifty trick that will speed up Firefox, especially if you are on broadband (such as Streamyx)?

What the trick basically does is you configure the Firefox browser to request more data that it usually does, thus speed up the page display. To configure it, you need to get to the hidden config settings and change some values.
If you still remember, we talked about AVG free antivirus software not too long ago; which is a very useful and free software to have on your computer to help you against antivirus threats. The other free antivirus software that I like is Avast.
These two are free antivirus software, but if you are willing to pay then I would usually suggest McAfee and Norton antivirus; which are two popular software in Malaysia. However, popular they are, but they may not be the best antivirus…
Virus.gr did some detailed tests some time ago on many of the widely used antivirus software to see how they stack up against each other. And the result is here:
1. Kaspersky version 6.0.0.303 - 99.62%
2. Active Virus Shield by AOL version 6.0.0.299 - 99.62%
3. F-Secure 2006 version 6.12.90 - 96.86%
4. BitDefender Professional version 9 - 96.63%
5. CyberScrub version 1.0 - 95.98%
6. eScan version 8.0.671.1 - 95.82%
7. BitDefender freeware version 8.0.202 - 95.57%
8. BullGuard version 6.1 - 95.57%
9. AntiVir Premium version 7.01.01.02 - 95.45%
10. Nod32 version 2.51.30 - 95.14%

Apple first introduced the Apple TV last year when it was originally known under the code name “iTV”. Back then, very little information is available about the device except that it was Apple’s first foray into the home living room space.

But guess what, now this awesome looking television Apple TV is in Malaysia! I am not sure if this is available at other gadget stores, such as those at Low Yat, but at least CG Computers is retailing it at RM1,299.
