Google is undeniably one of the most visited website in the world, and one of the most used search engine. Admit it, everyday you and I go to Google for countless number of times. I even believe that the world would be in a big chaos if Google went down for just a day!

But, I am sure not many of you have noticed the tiny Preferences link just beside the search box. Trust me, this is a very useful page to let power users to customize how Google searches for you or present results to you.

Interface Language
Try changing this to Greek and see if you can still recognize the lovely Google or not.

Search Language
This is useful if you wanted to search webpages or information written in a particular language. Try Chinese (Simplified) for example if you only want webpages in that language.

SafeSearch Filtering
This is an interesting setting and I believe most of you humsup fellas would definitely want to leave this at “Do not filter my search results”. I know you don’t want to filter out any nice photos, right? Haha… me too, we are in the same gang!

I have Moderate SafeSearch on, and I searched for “girl” Google images. Guess what, the second search result is a picture of a sexy girl in bikini with the title “Seductive Bikini Girl”…. from liewcf.com!

The 404 or Not Found error message is a message indicating that the browser was able to communicate with the server, but the server could not find the page that was requested. The annoying little message could be caused because you have entered a wrong URL, the webmaster has deleted the file you are looking for, or the net spirits are against you and will see to it you will never find the information you are looking for!

Getting the dreaded 404 error message can be frustrating at times, especially if you can’t seems to find what’s wrong with the URL. However some of these 404 error messages are really fun and creatively done.

I know you and I love Firefox so much these days… when did you last used that browser from Microsoft called Internet Explorer? Last year?… haha!

Firefox is so cool, but it will be cooler if you play this nifty little Firefox trick on your friends. This fun trick is simple, it opens multiple Firefox windows inside of your main Firefox window! All you have to do is enter the following URL in your Firefox address bar:

chrome://browser/content/browser.xul

This will open up a new Firefox window inside the main window. Repeat the same with the inner Firefox window, and you will have a new Firefox window inside the main one…

Play this trick on your friends, and let them thought they have got a Firefox virus attack!

Hard disks have really grown in storage space exponentially. Dell and Alienware are now offering a half terabyte (500GB) of storage in their Dell XPS M2010 and Alienware Aurora m9700 notebook offerings. This (notebooks that have a half terabyte of storage space) is definitely the first in the industry.

The Dell’s giant notebook is the XPS M2010. It’s a 20″ screen foldable notebook. While the Alienware is the Aurora m9700, which is a 17″ screen dual graphics and dual hard drive notebook. Both notebooks are loaded with high end multimedia and gaming features, which obviously can be a desktop replacement anytime. Either one of these notebooks is surely more powerful than my desktop PC.
