Actually, Wuching wants to take a break to see how my desktop looks like, so I have to make a screen shot and show it here. Surprisingly, there is no sexy chicks nor pretty girls. Only a beautiful tiger, guarding my laptop.

This awesome picture was downloaded from one of the many wallpapers websites on the net. Can’t recall which one though. Can’t deny that my desktop is messy… lots of files and folders. Some of them even I myself don’t know what they are there for. LOL.

The Internet is a great place to look for free lunch… I mean stuff which include high quality royalty free images. One website which offers these images/photos which you can for your websites, blogs, PowerPoint presentations, newsletters and etc is FreeDigitalPhotos.net. Although they are not as big as Corbis or iStockPhoto which stocks tens of thousands of photos across a vast variety of subjects, FreeDigitalPhotos.net does have a few hundreds of free web quality photos for free download and use.

Since I like photos of faces and people, naturally I checked their “People” category, and downloaded a couple of photos for use in my web projects.

OK, I know I am bad for baiting you to come here with PSP and Nintendo DS Lite, but don’t get mad at me first. Check out this DIY project from Michael, which teaches you how to build a DIY Handheld Electronic Game.

Although the whole thing looks pretty simple, but you need a lot of electronics and software programming knowledge to come up with something like this. Look at his C programming codes, not for those faint hearted, right? Anyway, if you are good in electronics, you might want to do something similar. Follow his DIY steps. The components should be easily available from your local electronics shop. If not, the most pay Jalan Pasar, Pudu a visit. I am sure you can find all the electronic components there.

Google AdSense is no doubt one of the world’s best ad network but until now the most annoying thing about it was that it did not allow fast payment methods such as Western Union Money Transfer or wire transfer. The only payment method available was check delivery which could take weeks to reach you. In my case, using standard delivery usually took up to 3 weeks to arrive, not to mention another 4 weeks for the check to clear at my local Maybank branch.

Now, the best news for Malaysians is we can now choose to be paid by Western Union Quick Cash. Western Union Quick Cash is a payment method that allows you to receive your AdSense payments in cash using the Western Union money transfer service. Payments will be available for pick up at our local Western Union Agent the day after they are sent. This means that we won’t have to wait for a check to arrive in the mail. Choosing to receive your payments by Western Union can also cut down on the bank fees and long clearing times associated with depositing checks.

As far as I know many CIMB and RHB bank branches offer Western Union services.

If you wish to get your AdSense payment through Western Union, you need to change your payment options. Here is how you do it:

1. Login your Google AdSense account.
2. Go to; My Account > Account Settings.
3. Click on “Edit”.
4. After you have clicked on “Edit”, you will see the following screen. On this page, select the option “Setup Western Union Quick Cash”, as shown below.

   

5. Click on “Continue >>”.
6. Check on the option that says “I agree that I have a picture ID that matches the contact name above.” If your IC has a different name, then I guess you have a big problem here!
7. Click on “Save changes”.

Folks, good news. You can watch your favorite TV shows, such as Prison Break, 24 and Lost for FREE. You not only have absolute access to these three famous thrilling dramas, there are loads more including the latest episodes of Grey’s Anatomy, Family guy, Desperate Housewives, House and Ugly Betty.

(That’s one of my favorite character, John Locke, played by Terry O’Quinn. He won the Emmy award for his supporting role in LOST)

I know most likely you TV fanatics have ways to watch these movies for FREE anyway, maybe using bitorrent to download them, but TV-video.net is at the very least a good way for you to preview before you spend days downloading them using bitorrent. Right or not?
