Recall sent emails in Outlook

8 Feb 2007 In: Microsoft

I believe sometimes you landed yourself in a situation where you want to stop an Outlook email from being delivered and read. You tried desperately hitting the “Esc” key on your keyboard, but this doesn’t help much…

There may be times where you send an email but quickly realize that you didn’t mean to send it, or you noticed an error in the email that needs to be fixed. So, how do you recall a sent email in Microsoft Outlook?

Recall email

  1. From Microsoft Outlook, open the “Sent Items” folder.
  2. Double-click the email you wish to recall. This will open it in a new window.
  3. Select “Actions” – “Recall this message”.
  4. Choose to either delete unread copies of the email or delete unread copies of the email, replacing it with a new message.
  5. Check or uncheck “Tell me if recall succeeds or fails for each recipient” as desired.
  6. Click “OK”.
  7. If you chose to replace the e-mail, enter in your new message and send it afterwards.

We all love getting Valentine’s Day cards. It used to be fun to send and to receive animated greeting cards. But those are outdated now. What’s new in town is video greeting cards. So this year, let’s share the love in a new way – send a Valentine’s Day Video Greeting Card to your loved one!

Video greeting card

What’s interesting is that the video can be from Youtube’s gallery or use your own video which you uploaded. What are you waiting for?… send a video greetings card to me now. :)

I think this is a really good move for YouTube to promote themselves, don’t you think so?

6 Feb 2007 In: Computing

YouTube.com is an excellent website that allows you to watch videos on their servers for free. You can also upload your own videos to the website and share it with the world!

These are great but unfortuneatly, YouTube doesn’t allow you to download these videos.

YouTubex

But, don’t worry because we have found a website that allows you to download Youtube videos easily. The website is none other than YouTubeX.com. There is no complicated programs to install, you simply need to use your IE or Mozilla Firefox browser!

How do you save YouTube videos using YouTubex?
- Browse for the videos at YouTube.com
- Copy and Paste the URL of the YouTube video into the form at YouTubex.com
- Click “DOWNLOAD” to save the video file to your computer.
- Rename the YouTube file with a .flv extension if necessary.

You expect more? No, no more, that’s it, so simple that even my grandparents can do it! :)
