The lightsabre wielding contest sounds like loads of fun. I am sure that with technology being what it is these days, the lightsabre can not be too far away. It makes fantastic sense to have an energy beam sword for personal protection and ease of carry. Much better than a ray gun or conventional gun, which can kill at a distance, and goes beyond personal protection.
I love Star Wars, and always say that it is never too late to have a happy childhood
so now that I can afford the toys I do like to pander to my enthusiasm occasionally.

Growing up i was always a huge fan of starwars. I remember going out with my dad and seeing all the films and going trick or treating in darth vader costume. Good times.

@mobile phone: agreed. He definitely doesn’t need more money. It would be interesting to see how much money he’s made in toys & figurines compared to actual movie sales.

This is my favorite movie of all time! George Lucas deserves to succeed for sure! But I think Toys r Us will get a bigger cut of all the toys and happy stuff…

Yes some relatives just don’t understand the appeal of collectibles. They see it is as a childish hobby that you need to eventually drop. With some people’s collections there is both sentimental and financial value.
