The pirates always crack the games, it is pointless for the big companies to punish their fans just to try and prevent piracy. they have to think of those that have large lan gatherings. they are only punishing people as steam is a piece of shit.

People are stupid. First of all MW2 is a great game without multiplayer. Secondly the multiplayer player is rubbish, compared to that with the Battelfield series. I myself have a pirated and cracked version of the game that i acquired from my friend. I have seen the multiplayer and as someone who owns Battlefield 2, I think that Battlefield would be a better game if it had equivalent graphics and range of weapons. I am now looking at buying bad company 2. My advice would to be not to waste your money on MW2. It is an awesome game but not worth that sort of money on PC without LAN.
