   It sounds like a pretty decent machine, better that my piece of junk computer anyway. I’m not sure about the conversion with Canadian dollars, but it sounds like a good deal considering what is included.

   I am a web developer so this would be a good tool for me to acquire. The Macbook is awesome when it comes to this field.

   MacBook is good for web design work, but I think these days you can find equally good design software on Windows based PCs.

    That’s a pretty good deal, we’ve recently had the back to school promotion where you get a free ipod for every mac you buy (or a heavily discounted iPod Touch).

    @Nicole Because Apple rarely puts their Macs on promotional deals. I think the reason for this is for their marketing purposes– to ensure a highly-priced luxury item.

    The MacBook starter kit looks very nice though, I don’t think the US-based Apple stores ever offered anything like this… Although they do have a free iTouch offer with the purchase of a MacBook.

    That sounds like a pretty sweet computer, but I personally don’t like the 13″ screen. Then again, at home I have my laptop propped up behind my 19″ monitor.
