Why is it no other manufacturers can reproduce the quality of the Honda inverter generators? I wouldn’t think the inverter technology is patentable, yet nobody else seems to be building these hot little sellers. Does anyone else know of a good quality “true” competitor in this market? The models I’m speaking of are like the EU2000i.Thanks

Well in my opinion it makes alot of sense for Honda to make the airplanes, whether they be for private or personal use, as that is just another avenue of revenue for Honda. And you know what? The airplanes might be a safer thing for them to sell in terms of numbers, as they would likely be able to predict more accurately their sell numbers.

It does make sense that Honda would expand into this market as well. They currently make pretty much every type of vehicle with a motor. They have some of the best mechanical engineers. Billions of people rely on Honda for safe vehicles. So I’m sure there jet would be even safer.

Honda came into F1 some 20+ years ago and not too long after, dominated it for some time. If anything this move should cause other players (Rolls Royce?) to lift their game!
