Are you the kind of person that would love to pamper or surround yourself with songs and music when you are abroad? Imagine plugging your iPod into a speaker and blast it wherever you are, then when you’re done, fold your speaker up and go home. Wait a minute, did I say fold your speaker up? Yes, indeed I did!

MUJI Cardboard Speakers is a portable, lightweight speakers that can be folded away into the pouch when you are not using it. It is entirely made of cardboard and electronic components – all you need to do is plug and play! Now the best thing I like about MUJI Cardboard Speakers is the pouch they came in. With size of 3.25 (height) x 3.5 (width) x 3.25 (length), this speakers is convenient and easy to carry around!
The name of the inventor, “Muji” came from the Japanese phrase “Mujirushi Ryohin”, which means “No Brand Goods”. They have been developing and producing innovative materials and products with concepts of simplicity, environmentally friendly and cost-saving productions.
How much? US$38.00 only! Pretty affordable, right? Get more information on MUJI Cardboard Speakers at MoMA Store!

Is there a store in victoria that would sell 8″ diameter sonotube or cardboard tube. I am planning to use it as my housing for 3″ tang band speakers

Interesting. Wonder if the cardboard will tear or wear-out after a few “foldings”

Very cool! I thought it looked like junk at first glance, but the fact they are foldable/portable is great! Still I think they could’ve splurged on some color selection.

Exercise Programs, wow… you’re pro!
Yong, I’m sure if we take good care of it, we can use it at least 2 times. :p
Leon and Exercise Programs, I’ve checked their website but I don’t think they mention about the spec of the speaker.
CashBack, I’ve the same impression with you the first time I saw the speaker :p

These are some pretty cool and innovative speakers, I would definitely use them more for when I am on the go, or traveling, as they would be very easy to setup, instead of all the wires and mess of the current speakers I have attached to my computer.

Gas card, But if the speaker doesn’t produce sound quality that surpass your laptop speaker, I can’t see a reason to use it :p (Although I’m the one who introduce it. :p )

Well I wouldn’t use it for my laptop since in my opinion it wouldn’t make sense to lug around an extra set of speakers, I would use it more for my desktop, lol. But now that I think about it… it would likely serve a better purpose using it for a small cd-player or an ipod (like you suggest).
