And even web apps, just look at Google. I can think of so many things to hate about Vista, try using the Control Panel and the Network Settings features. You need to be Einstein to figure it out. Actually I'm happy with Win 98 and XP look too. It's a case of technology moving ahead of humanity here haha! Yep… simplicity is a virtue when it comes to sofware design. It's apparent MS chose style over functionality with Vista, it's a pain to get anything done. 98 was not that eye-catching, however, you could do things quickly without 10,000 security alert messages and such. Windows Vista spoiled everything and it's so much harder to navigate and copy files around. Not to mention that all the words and icons keep getting smaller... not much tolerance for mistakes and inaccurate mouse movements at all. Fewer features and user friendliness is more important!
