I went to pc fair in penang to check out the wiggy, the P1 guy told if not sastified with the speed within 7 days, I can return it. BUT the combo acer netbook that comes with the promo package, I had to pay for it.

This is ridiculous sales policy as I see P1 is not confident about its own product’s quality (I only expect 1- 2 Mbps with wiggy under normal circumstance), they are forcing customer to pay for the so called “free netbook” even if customers not satified with the performance.

I can’t see any bright futures to P1 if they continue with this kind of mentality of doing business. In America, you will return goods / services with no questions asked.

I was so enthusiastic to sign up the 24 month package until they told me about this “no return acer netbook” T&C.

Finally, I didn’t sign up due to doubt in the way they do business.

Also, I called up their 1-300 number to have some technical guy to call me back, after 3 days already, I don’t even hear anything from them

Compare to celcom, at least they response is great and timely.

Very disappointed could not sign up the combo package due to the lossy PC fair sales policy

I see. So, what kind of broadband services are now available in France? I am sure they are much better compared to the dominant broadband service in Malaysia, Streamyx.

I am not going. I still can’t get a connection on this USB dongle modem. If it still fails, I will call up Naomi and get a replacement next week.
