yeah, i just tried, and the same thing does happen to me too.
but when a pointed my mouse to the link, it said the original link on my browser.

Going by the pagerank (7), it appears to be his blog But as you said, there are just 2 posts.
By the way, I could not understand this:
the link you mentioned here is getting redirected to http://status.blogger.com/ whereas if I copy paste it in the browser, it opens the actual link.
