Nice graphic manipulation thingie that I am using since I got to know about it.

However, it tends to crash sometimes, on older system, say a Pentium 1.5Ghz with 512MB ram.

Yeah, I downloaded Paint.NET before but because it needed the .NET framework to be installed on my pc, I decided to it was just too much hassle….

I’ve tried GIMP before. Like the problem you encountered, I feel uneasy with the interface. Maybe need some time to get used to it as I have stuck with Adobe Photoshop for a long time.

Another light weight, free alternative is PAINT.NET. It’s more “Photoshop alike”. But you need to have the .NET framework installed before hand.
