I was going to buy a aluminium macbook to upgrade my white macbook, but the lack of firewire put me off. Well until I can afford to get a MacBook Pro. I also think that the my current MacBook doesn't have issues with being too bulky, so in my opinion the inclusion of the MacBook Air last year was just showing off on Apple's part.
