Actually which broadband is the most acceptable(not even expecting the best) ISP in the market right now for Klang Valley : Maxis, Celcom,Streamyx, Izzi, U Mobile or Wimax.

Can any good soul out there give new user a clear direction.

Streamyx combo bundle with HP computer is actually a fake offer to trick new customer.

I went to TMPoint at least 7 times to apply, was pushing around between TM and HP. Only realised later that this offer is actually "non-existence" . The offer is too good to be true - free HP computer + streamyx line 1 Mbps for on RM99

4sen per minute is expensive. Normal TMNet dial up only cost 3sen per minute.
Anyway, streamyx connections does not improve. It goes worst here.
International sites cannot load.

Too bad my recent experience with streamyx wasn't that good..

I've talked to 3 service counter person, waited for about 12 days, almost screw 2 agents that make my application a mess, to get the application for streamyx done.

And, also for 5 days and still going on.. waiting for the account activation to happen just because their systems says the jumper is not yet ready while my dsl light is stable and tested can be used.

Yet, i like to use streamyx. Just that they might want to improve a lot more on the application part. Especially when it comes to the cable upgrades and jumper issue. They usually won't tell you that when you're applying.

Wow... It is good to hear that. I don't really like their service. My streamyx was down last time and it took them 3 weeks to fix it. :(

MerDuriaN,
I see. So, now they send sms to remind you if you don't pay. Fast fast go pay the bill, otherwise you won't be able to go online next week.

Anyway, do you know that you can connect to the Internet using EZnet 1315 simply by dialing 1315 through your dial up modem? No need to register first, just plug in your modem into a telephone line and dial 1315. It is available to all TM fixed line subscribers. Charges is 4 sen per minute. Not sure if this is more expensive than the normal TMnet dial-up though.
