Maybe I should be contented with my blog’s PageRank of 3.

Why should not when I am on the same level with the world’s most widely used video sharing website YouTube, as far as PR is concerned! This should be the biggest PR drop, from a strong PR8 to a mere PR3! What a surprise… you can verify this with a Dig PageRank check. You may see lots of PR3, and a few PR8… depending on which datacenters the system is querying the PR from.
This is really surprising… there is no way YouTube.com deserves PR3 only. Perhaps there is a mistake? Or does YouTube sell links? ![]()

I guess what happened to Widget Bucks happened to YouTube as well. If YouTube is not under Google, it would have left nothing.
Try searching Widget Bucks, did the Widget Bucks site come out? Well, the reason for its ban is that all the widgets ads, like YouTube videos have a link back to the site which Google doesn’t like it.

Keeyit,
Yes, YouTube belongs to Google. YouTube’s PR has been restored to 8.
Wayne Liew,
Your analysis may be correct but Google still loves YouTube, why not as it’s part of their network too! PR restored to 8.
MerCuRy,
YouTube had PR3 for a couple of days only. Haha.
Ah Yuen,
Thanks for the update!
