My friend called me frantically today. I thought what good stuff he has for me… turned out it was his computer that needs some serious attention. To illustrate the matter better, I requested him to do some screen shots.

Whenever he starts his computer, Spy Shredder would popup and claims there are viruses and trojans in his computer. In order to remove them, he will need to purchase the full version Spy Shredder!
A quick search on the Internet reveals that Spy Shredder is a trojan application itself that lures the victim into buying the product by displaying false positive malware detections on the his computer. How Spy Shredder infected my friend’s computer is unknown, but most likely by exploiting his browser’s security. Moreover, Spy Shredder may install other malware on the victim’s computer, thus further damaging his system. Immediate removal is advised.

Now, how to remove Spy Shredder? Since this is a stubborn trojan, both AVG Free Edition and AVAST fail to detect it. What you really need is SUPERAntiSpyware.

On its website, SUPERAntiSpyware claims it is the most thorough scanner on the market. Their technology will detect spyware that other products miss and will remove ALL the Spyware, NOT just the easy ones! These include spyware such as AntiVirGear, VirusProtectPro, DriveCleaner, SmitFraud, Vundo, WinFixer, SpyAxe, SpyFalcon, WinAntiVirus, AntiVermins, and AntiSpyGolden.
Is it really take good? Let my friend give it a test! A hard test.

My friend was all smiles just minutes after he downloaded, installed and fired up SUPERAntiSpyware Free (Home version). The software not only detected Spy Shredder, it also managed to catch a few other threats. Not only that, it successfully cleaned them all!
This should have saved him the headache of formating his computer again! SUPERAntiSpyware rocks!
