I am a big fan of Roger Federer and Pete Sampras. Now there is an opportunity to see both of them play against each other in no other place than Malaysia, how could I afford not to watch it live?! Yes, I made my booking early and now the tickets are in my hands already! Skynet couriered them to me last week. Free delivery in Malaysia only.

Billed as the Clash of Times, current World No. 1 Roger Federer will take on his predecessor Pete Sampras in what promises to be an electrifying match-up. Two of the greatest tennis players ever will battle for pride and dominance over the past two decades in the sport’s history.
For the record, the only time both of them met was at the historic match in the Round of 16, Wimbledon 2001. Since then, Sampras retired leaving Federer holding a 1-0 lifetime head to head against him.
Don’t wait, do you online booking now at Ticketpro.com.my.
Who do you think will eventually win the match? The versatile Roger? Or the serve and volley Sampras? I personally think Roger will have his upper hand simply because he is 10 years younger than Sampras! Your stamina and speed is very much reduced when you are 36 years old. You still remember at what age did Andre Agassi retired?
I can’t wait for the magical date to come… 22 November 2007. Venue will be at Stadium Malawati, Shah Alam.

Wayne Liew,
I am sure you can afford the ticket if you want to watch it. It isn’t too expensive.
Anserq,
I am interested to hear your analysis on why Sampras will win the match. Remember, the only time they met, Federer won… although it could have gone the other way only if Sampras had a little more luck on his side. Now, after all these years, Federer’s game has definitely improved and become more mature, where on the other hand, Sampras is older and I am sure he hasn’t played much quality tennis compared to 10 years ago when he was actively competing.
A lot say Federer is the most talented tennis player in history!

Rice Blogger,
It will certainly be a much awaited great match! I wonder whether Astro is going to telecast it live?
cbenc12,
I am. Although I don’t play tennis, but I love watching the Grand Slams.
Pablopabla,
I did the booking very early. I believe 2nd day after the booking was open, even then the A zone (the most expensive) tickets were already sold out!
