Picture tells a thousand words. Check this comparison graph showing countries with the top broadband speed in the world. Surprisingly Japan tops the list and not the United States as most would expect… Don’t ever mention Malaysia here OK. It will be a joke of the year if you did that!
Japan, Korea, Finland, Sweden, France, Netherlands, and a few other countries are enjoying faster broadband than the United States. What an embarrassment for America. Haha… they always claim they are the greatest!
Not sure how much is the broadband charges the Japanese need to pay though… but I am sure they aren’t paying more than what are made to pay to Streamyx.
Check out alternatives for Streamyx if you are fed up with their slow connection, or constant disconnection.

I’m living since about 2 years in M’sia.
I never experienced a slower Internet than in this country except 20 years back.
I was living before in Japan and the Internet there really earn the name broadband.
We had some discussions back with representatives from Jaring but it was waste of time. As long as the Malaysian Government not really open the market for foreign investors it won’t change. Jaring has the monopole and as long as they are allowed to fill their pockets with money why shall they change.
