But, do you know the beauty with Windows’ Recycle Bin is that you can increase and decrease its size as you wish? The Recycle Bin is automatically set to a default size which is equivalent to 10 percent of the drive’s size. Follow the following simple steps to change this default size:

• Right click on the Recycle Bin icon on the Desktop of your computer. Then select Properties.
• Adjust the slider bar in the center of the screen from 10% to any other size as you see fit.
• Click on the OK button to save your new setting and exit the Recycle Bin Properties Window.
• Reboot your computer so that Windows can pick up your new setting.

Tip: The maximum size of your Recycle Bin is still limited to the maximum available size of your hard disk!
