Ivy,
Even at $150 I still could not aford to buy "the world's cheapest laptop for my child (who's really into computing), considering that we are in a third-world country. Here in the Philippines, laptop's are the status symbol of society's elites. I'm just wondering if it would be possible for my child (Vladimir, 4 yrs. old, kindergarten) to be the recipient of "the world's cheapest laptop"? It's such a shame if his early computer skills wouldn't become developed just because he didn't get enough access to use a computer to learn more. The only time he gets to use a computer is (when money permits) at internet rental cafes.
Please let me know how my child could qualify as a recepient of this laptop. I told him about it and his hopes just sprung really really up.
Thank you so much.

Ivy,
I assume you know that you need to pay USD 399 to get the XO Laptop. It's the price of two – one will go to a child in a developing country, while the other belongs to your child (or you). Secondly, that laptop isn't available in any retail shop/mall. You need to participate in the Give One Get One programme to get the laptop. Internationals can join, but you must have a US/Canadian mailing address, which will forward your laptop to you. If you can meet all these, feel free to call 1-949-608-2865. I highly recommend you to read through the programme's FAQ.

Regards.
