When you connect to the Internet, your IP address is your identity and it’s exposed to the world to see. Of course this is not a problem under normal circumstances, but can be misused by hackers and people with bad intention because your IP address actually tells a lot about yourself. Don’t believe me? Check your IP address now and I will show you where you are from!

Your privacy is at high risk! Want to hide your IP Address while surfing?
There are a few ways to hide your IP so that you can surf the Internet anonymously.
The above are two of the best and easiest ways to surf anonymously. If you are more adventurous and do not mind a little technical stuff, you can change the proxy settings directly within your Internet browser. Public Proxy Servers has a hugh list of free proxy servers all around the world which you can use.
Happy surfing and hide your IP when you need to.

well technically that’s not hiding your IP address per se as the proxy will still have a record of your address. It’s more of a anonymous surfing technique. However I wouldn’t do anything illegal using this technique as the cops would just have to call up the people who run the proxy and get them to spill your IP for them to track. What this would be good for is operating behind firewalls to surf sites you would normally have filtered out (i.e : schools or your office or some country that is horrendously strict with censorship – *cough* China *cough*). Anyway, good post, try http://www.bugmenot.com , its an interesting site, along the same lines as this post
